Sri Somanatha Jyotirlingam at sri punyalingeswara swamy temple

The first of the twelve famous Jyotirlingams is Sri Somanatha Jyotirlingam. The Somanatha Temple is located in Prabhas, a city near the port town of Veraval in the Giri Somnath district of Gujarat, in Saurashtra.

He appears in the form of Sri Somanatha, who removes all the curses and sins of the devotees and fulfills their wishes. The Sri Somanatha Jyotirlingam Upalayam was built in the Sri Punyalingeswara Swamy Kshetra for the devotees who cannot travel far to visit Sri Somanathaswara, who has a wonderful spiritual history.

बारह प्रसिद्ध ज्योतिर्लिंगों में से प्रथम श्री सोमनाथ ज्योतिर्लिंगम हैं। सोमनाथ मंदिर गुजरात के सौराष्ट्र राज्य के गिरि सोमनाथ जिले के बंदरगाह शहर वेरावल के पास प्रभास में स्थित है।

वे श्री सोमनाथ के रूप में प्रकट होते हैं, जो भक्तों के सभी श्रापों और पापों का निवारण करते हैं और उनकी मनोकामनाएँ पूरी करते हैं। श्री सोमनाथ ज्योतिर्लिंगम उपालयम का निर्माण श्री पुण्यलिंगेश्वर स्वामी क्षेत्र में उन भक्तों के लिए किया गया था जो श्री सोमनाथेश्वर के दर्शन के लिए दूर नहीं जा सकते, जिनका एक अद्भुत आध्यात्मिक इतिहास है।
